Maybe it is a choice for some people depending on their situation. No two cases are identical.
I was advised that I needed rsr, but refused and got pt and a second opinion. The pt was helpful, and I will be starting prp injections next month. I have improved strength and rom from the pt and continued efforts in the gym.

Exactly - each case is unique. In my case, I did have a choice because my surgeon said my rotator muscles were borderline - some fraying damage but still might be ok for a TSR. But since I didn't want to go through another surgery to put in a reverse later in case of failure, I opted for the rTSR. The shorter recovery time also was a bonus. I am very happy with my results.

Yes, everybody is different, but the reverse is usually done because of missing bone, we always have a choice, I just mean it’s the best option and sometimes the only option
