I hope they can remedy your fissure. A couple of stitches maybe? But it is a sensitive area to stitch.

Stitches are something I want to avoid at all costs. I am using Hydralax and really increased my fibre intake. The last thing they want you doing is straining. The ointment is supposed to help with healing and then increased fibre makes things move easier. I can't believe all this is related to a chronic Covid cough.

No suturing anal fissures. That would be a last resort. Many heal on their own. Talk to your doctor.
