Rashida, For me, I think I lost the certainty of knowing what to expect from my vision. Before Nurtec, I knew about how far, in which light conditions I would be able to see what objects, colors, etc. I knew what would be clear and what likely unclear. I knew which way to look and at what because I had long practice with what worked for me. I knew and felt confident that I would experience the same vision as in the recent past. That feeling of security has gone, and generally what is unsettling now is unsettling because I saw less well before. I lost the day and night clear certainty about how my vision will work. And that makes the process different, So hard to explain this. I feel like a younger, stronger person could handle the feelings of instability better than I. If you were suddenly struck with perfect hearing, would you trust and feel at ease with what had happened to you?
How much of what we see is what we expect to see?
Rimegepant is the other name for Nurtec and it is made by Pfizer in India. I was given a prescription for 75mg melt in mouth units. I think neurologists or pharmacists would have specialzed knowledge here, but I wonder whether an optomitrist would know. It seems kind of an opposite field to study in my view.
What part of Canada are you in, if Imay ask?
