Rashida, yes Nurtec is prescription required and in a category called « special » here in Nevada. I don’t know if it’s the same everywhere. My limited experience is that everything wrong with my vision is gone, vision is bright, perfectly clear, feels supernatural, perfect. But, but, but, but vision changes over hours and days leaving vision improved but not perfect, with flashes of the supernatural feeling and some minor nausea. I have to laugh a bit at myself because several doctors asked me over the years whether I thought I had some supernatural experience with the visual auras. I thought that idea was silly back then. Now I wonder if they meant this perfect vision that feels unreliable.
