So sorry about this experience. You are NOT a whiner. The poor communication and follow through by your doctor only adds to your pain, fear and frustration. Sadly, I also have experienced similar disappointments with physicians from all specialties. It is challenging to have to make multiple calls when not feeling well.
Best wishes for pain control and as you move forward. Maybe your new oncologist will have a better system, one that includes a nurse navigator to handle calls such as yours. 🤞
