The procedure was late yesterday at 3pm. Unfortunately she was not able to get in far enough to complete her mission. She has referred me on to an oncology gynecologist. I left the hospital disappointed and feeling frustrated. She told me before surgery that she would send me home with Tylenol 3. At discharge I was told I was being prescribed Tylenol. The Tylenol did not help with the pain and now she’s prescribed ibuprofen 600. I asked her to call me today so that she could let me know what happened during the procedure. No call. More frustration. I have an appointment with the oncology gynecologist on 9/3 in Chicago at the Rush Cancer Center.
I’m sorry if I sound like a whiner.

@bocabuckeye Your description of what happened yesterday afternoon is very distressing. What happened to the Tylenol 3 prescription? I can't imagine that just plain Tylenol will touch the pain you've described. I really hope that the gyn-oncologist is more helpful. While September 3 seems far away it's actually quite close in time.

You absolutely do not at all sound like a whiner. You sound like a woman in a lot of pain with postmenopausal bleeding, cramps and additional pain. Of course you want to find out what is going on with your body and you aren't going to give up until you do find out. You are advocating for yourself and I hope you will finally get some answers from the Rush Cancer Center.
