With the number of people reporting long-tern adverse reactions, maybe we should be pressuring the manufacturer to develop an antidote.

As I sit here and try to think what brought me to the Endrocrologist in the first place. My PCP did my whole count blood work, suggested I go to endocrinology who in turn suggested that I have this Reclast infusion which gave numerous side effect that continue 14 months later. I had zero shoulder pain and zero left foot pain prior. I did experience nausea, fatigue and tiredness as well. The latter has seemed to let up some. Outside of something off with my blood count I really had no issues; just routine bloodwork! Endocrinology continues to contact me what seems almost weekly trying to get me to come in to have a second Reclast infusion. The endocrinologist recommended that I go to rheumatologist for my pain issues and continue my treatment with them. I shared that I will not acquire any additional medication therapy until Rheumatologist rules out side effects from the Reclast; in fact,
, the more I think about it the more I am inclined to decline any additional medication therapy. I honestly felt fine before the infusion and sometimes test can be wrong or preformed wrong, get a wrong reading and we as patients pay the price!
Endocrinologist office called me again this week wanting to set up an appointment for me to come in, I shared that my rheumatologist appointment is not until 01/29/2026 and guess what! Endocrinologist office called me back and have me set to go to Rheumatologist next week!
Only thing I can Strongly suggest! Be Your Own Advocate, Be heard! Protect Your Body! I’m not a Ginny Pig nor will I allow to be treated as such! As we age we all will continue to experience new differences in our bodies; it’s a part of aging I guess! I wish all of you good luck!
