Just short note. VitaminD3 and K2 combined pulls calcium from your vessels and sends it to bone and teeth.
I am 74 and have slight elev B/P but because of this I had developed a small TAA. So every year I dry a CT of my chest and being I am a ct tech I can play with the images. So I check for plaque in my coronary arteries. No plaque. Also had a procedure done that required a scan of both lower legs. The Radiologist said I have the blood vessels of a 40yo.

I understand the D3/K2 combo is sometimes recommended for osteopenia, but this is new information for me. Can you cite the scientific or research evidence for this?

As for K2/D3 "pulling calcium from your vessels" the jury is still out - there are at least 2 studies underway, with no results reported yet. There are some observational and retrospective studies as well - the results are mixed, for men with high CAC scores, who are taking statins, the combination does reduce arterial calcium, but not for those not using them. Here is one older study:

I cannot find anything that says that IF calcium leaves the arteries, it somehow makes its way to the bones.
