I went through Pain Rehabilitation beginning about 5 years ago - not through Mayo, but an outpatient program offered by my provider. It gave me back my life, teaching me to manage the bad times and improve my ability to live a semi-normal life in spite of many issues. It involved changing my entire outlook from trying to eliminate chronic pain to learning to live with it and to know my limits.

I just checked out the program. Unfortunately, I don’t qualify. I’m in constant pain all over, but especially my back.
Because I have Cognative Impairment learning new things is hard for me and that’s a problem with the program.
