Rosedronate?

I've been on Risedronate for two years with no adverse side effects and an improved DEXA scan after the first year. I have also been taking a higher level of calcium - 1500 mg a day because I also have Collagenous Colitis and take Budesonide (a steroid) for that. I previously was on Reclast and had three annual infusions. My new Osteoporosis specialist was concerned about long-term effects of Reclast - especially the potential for kidney damage - and switched me to the Risendronate. So far, so good!

Thank you for your reply...looks like I best increase my calcium. Stopped Risedronate as I now am battling PMR...one war at a time for me!
