I am 77. I’ve had hot flashes for the last nine years while I’ve been on ADT.

When I first started having hot flashes nine years ago, I would Feel fatigue as the hot flash came on. I used to drink ice water and use a fan to cool off.

One year after I started ADT my oncologist told me that getting a depo-provera Would help. I got one and the hot flashes almost stopped, Until I went on Zytiga, and they came back, Just not as intense.

Well, nine years later, Orgovyx Has been giving me at least eight hot flashes a day with most of them, soaking my hair with sweat dripping into my eyes. Three weeks ago I got a depo-provera shot. My hot flashes didn’t stop, but the intensity has dropped dramatically. Now they only last a couple of minutes and I don’t get real sweaty, unless I exercise by going to the gym or walking on the track. There are other hormones that can help speak to your doctor about this.

I have an embrlabs.com wave product (wave 2). I’ve used it for Over three years now. It’s like a refrigerator that looks like a watch and sits on the inside of your wrist. You could set up one of the buttons for their night mode . Hit the button twice and It Produces cold waves at measured times during the night and prevents hot flashes and night sweats. They used to bug me, before I got this device . When you start to feel a hot flash coming on, you hit another one of the buttons twice and it sends cold chills through your arms and it reduces the intensity, shortens the life and can stop the hot flashes if hit quickly enough. They do have a 60 day money back guarantee.

Thank you so much for this. Can I ask if you considered surgery? We had a
surgery date and we've put it off until we explore more options. We speak
for the first time with oncology this week, up until now only the urologist
who put onto ADT.. being Lupron. We'll definitely check out the link.
Thanks again for your help
