Topical Magnesium Lotion for Feet
Yesterday I had an Integrative Medicine doctor encourage me to try rubbing a topical Magnesium ointment on feet, saying she’s heard it’s an anecdotal remedy for neuropathy feet, especially if they feel like you’re walking on gel pads or bubble wrap and may feel wobbly for balance (not pain). I’m never opposed to trying anything at reasonable costs if it seems to have merit, but while I’m googling where to find it, I thought I’d throw it out to this group and see if anyone has tried it and what results they think they got from it? Thank you 🙂

Hi, Lynn... Thanks for your replies! Yes, I learned LONG ago that we have to be our own advocates for our health care... Some older doctors do things they way they have always done and are not looking to learn something new. And some are just clueless about things that are available. So we have to read and participate in groups like this one to arm. ourselves with as much knowledge as we possibly can. Yes, if you read up on Vitamins and neuropathy here, you will learn more about B6 possibly causing neuropathy or adding to it. I have learned so much from reading things on the Foundation for Peripherial Neuropathy site that John gives out to newbies. I understand about being lazy about doing the exercises.... and I sometimes slack off, too.... but we have to keep moving if we want to continue to do so. As they say, 'use it or lose it.' 🙂 I wish you all the best. Mike
