Were you given the option of having your injections in your upper arms? No one asked me or even suggested that I have the Evenity shots in the belly, thigh, back of legs…. Yikes, that sounds painful in its own right!

I forgot previously (hence the notion that the injections weren’t bothersome) that, at times, the Evenity shots did sting a bit - this was mostly eliminated once a nurse told me that she had taken the syringes out of the fridge about 20-30 minutes prior to my appointment; made a big difference so I requested that each time after that. No bloating, no belly pain, just about the same as having a flu shot. There is quite a bit of material flowing through the syringe, and I remember some “back pressure” and the previously-mentioned sting, but really no lasting effects.

I have my injections in my upper arm.
The infusion center ensures that the Evenity is not cold before the injection.

Definitely important
