I'm late responding to you but PRP injections have been a game-changer for me. I started with gel injections for an osteoarthritic knee and have been doing gel injections followed by PRP injections (they are not covered by insurance and I pay $500 per) and I am at 100% now.

Sadly they are telling me that my knee has so much arthritis and close to bone on bone that the gel injections are a 50/50 shot for me at $250. I wish insurance covered the PRP injections.
