WOW. So many unpleasant experiences. I've been dealing with a BV for at least a year and a half, possibly two. I also have been given MANY different antibiotics to use orally and in my How How. So far, nothing has worked for more than maybe a month. It keeps coming back and coming back. I am scheduled for a full hip replacement in five weeks. Just started another bacteria vaginal cream called Clindamycin which cost me $70.00 for a weeks supply. And also a tube of Estrogen for $30.00. With last infection got a dose of Clindamycin pills. THEY WORKED SO WELL. Oh well, what is a person to do.!!!!!!!! Can't have the hip surgery if I have an infection and don't even know if he will do it between reoccurrences. I guess an infection in a hip is pretty "Bad News". Right now I am bone on bone with pain down my leg and up into my butt. I'm using a walker and probably looking at a wheeler chair soon if I don't get my replacement. Good Luck To All of Us.
