It is quite common for orthopedic surgeons to think they are "done" when the initial wound is healed. Maybe you can ask pain management or neurology to refer you to a sports medicine orthopedist - these docs focus more on restoring function than protecting their surgical reputation. There you can get some more complex imaging done to see where else the problem might lie.
Here is another question - has someone evaluated your hips and spine to see if there is a different source for the pain?
