When I had chemo it was recommended that I increase my protein intake to close to half my weight in grams. So if I weighted 150 lbs my daily intake of protein should be almost 75 grams. So I had a high protein morning drink that had btwn 35-40 grams. Them I ate the rest during the day in protein bars; veggies anywhere i could find. My protein drink included a protein powder and a higher protein milk - Fairlife. That was my main change to my diet for chemo.

I forgot to mention I'm TNBC and BRCA2+. I completed all treatment 2yrs ago, I did chemo first with mediport implant then BMX then radiation. I'm 72 and chose to go flat, wanted retirement to be free of additional surgeries.
