@celia16 Hi. Sorry for the delayed reaction! Your BP sounds great! Congratulations on achieving that. Keep up the good work with your weight loss and exercise. You are getting a small amount of help from the Olmesartan I see — but it looks like you’re nearly at your goal to eliminate it that 2.5 mg dose. I guess you can cut the pill in half? Did your doc approve of that or you just did that? (I’m just curious!). My weight comes off very slowly.
How much weight did you lose? I’m now at 147 or so, but my BP depends on whether I’m taking it at home or it’s taken in an office. Always higher in the office, and the BP machnines vary, too. I prefer the manual one, but these days, they also use a digital one. When it’s too tight on my upper arm, it’s always higher. It’s hard to know if it’s a malfunction of the “operator” at times, or your actual BP. It’ll be interesting to discuss this in December with my doctor. She may give me the green light to keep going with my weight loss goals, but it all depends on the results of a Cardiac CT Scan I’ll be having earlier in December.
Your BP is excellent! I hope I can get it that low. I do watch my salt intake, and eat a WFPB diet.
