Thanks for the information, I do have a plan that has a $2000 cap, and I guess my cost puts me into the catastrophic category. I don't pay any premium for the part D plan that I have, but would be worth looking at a secondary policy if it was reasonable to cover the balance. I signed up for the Medicare Prescription Plan, that will break down the $2000 into affordable payments throughout the year so I don't have to pay a lump sum. I have Wellcare, and spoke with an agent at Express-Scripts that broke things down so it was easy to understand. He was very helpful and patient and answered & explained everything very well. I appreciate your input, always nice to get others views & experiences.
