I usually take 600mg per day and I take it at night after dinner and before bed. I spoke to a couple doctors and they said it should not upset your stomach. I have esophagitis and gastritis and it doesn’t bother my stomach. Some people take more or less than 600mg so you may want to try taking it at night and start with 300mg. My alpha Lipoic acid supplement also includes Acetyl l carnitine which is also good for small fiber neuropathy (magnesium, too).

I take 300 mg twice a day.. take it before eating something.. you’ll be fine
