EGFR went from 55 to 41 in a month. How?

My EGFR has been all over the place as well, but hydration is what fixed it for me. I was diagnosed temporarily with stage 3CKD, but now my EGFR is back to about 70 after using a water app to ensure that I drink about 68 ounces of water every single day. I hope this gives you some hope. I know that sometimes with kidney issues or dialysis you have to limit your intake of liquids. That’s a topic that I’m not that familiar with when it comes to dialysis.

Hello Ann, when you say temporary diagnosed with CKD can you please explain that. My GRF is declining somewhat and I’m afraid my kidneys are going to fail. I am a 42 year old female and recently was diagnosed with CKD. I have very little protein in my urine and creatinine is at 1.47. Please give me some insight. Thanks!

Ya I’ll try that, that does give me some hope, thank you
