@diverdown1 I believe you are thinking of Trazodone that is the older atypical antidepressant. Prescribing medical providers prescribe this medication to help with sleep.

Tramadol is not an antidepressant. According to Mayo Clinic, Tramadol is prescribe for moderate to severe pain and is the class of opioid analgesics.

Yes, if you look at the post underneath my first post, I caught that mistake. Thanks though as they are very different drugs.
