Hi Jeff

Don’t know if you can help my dad has had prostate cancer for 19 years and it is now metastasise to the liver. The spots are scattered but it is not neuro endocrine. He has tried lutetium for six cycles which initially it did have a response to in the liver. then we have done four cycles of docetaxel with Little to no response do you know what treatment there is available if any after this? Time is of the essence

Have they tried chemo using docetaxel along with carboplatin. Usually, when docetaxel alone doesn’t work adding carboplatin can make a difference. I’m not a doctor so I cannot tell you specifics about how it would work. I encourage you to talk to your medical oncologist and radiation oncologist about this. Ask if it might make a difference.
