It's just a snapshot of what is present at the time of imaging. That's it. It tells little else. It signals that you may want to remedy the circumstances that have led to that amount of deposits, wherever they happen to be. Maybe you can change some things. Your cardiologist will advise you. Meanwhile, you need to be a lot higher, and have been for a long time, to consider panicking. Relax.

I also have an even higher calcium score (+450). My cardiologist told me that my score just let us know that I have significant calcium buildup in my arteries. Since there isn’t anyway to reduce the number, I have changed my lifestyle to prevent further buildup. It is what it is…so I am focusing on reducing stress and enjoying life !!
