Scar tissue after knee replacement

Okay when I went for my 6 month checkup. The PA didn’t say the band is actually scar tissue. Said it lasts for a year. So my question is this if I keep up my exercises diligently, can I expect it to go away in a couple of months? Or do I have to live with it? Since the whole procedure was a nightmare I prefer not to have an arthroscopic procedure to correct it.

We are all different physically I exercise diligently for a year and the band never went away then I had scar tissue removed it came back but not as severe you’ll just have to wait it out and see how it goes my fingers are crossed for you

Don’t blame you. My surgeon became nasty when he realised it was scar tissue. He didn’t want to see me. Still limping and and bewildered. Understand your dilemma.

Omg -read the threads-go back a few years even! dear one-many of us are stuck this way-:{
