@jessicamc: hi! I am on Evenity and thought perhaps you might be able to give the injections to yourself. I don’t know about your availability for drug supplies, but I have mine shipped to doc office and I pick them up when call of arrival. I have injected into my stomach (sub-cutaneous fat) with no problems.
I like the procedure of weening off Osteo drugs! Let me know how it works for you! I am on month 3 Evenity 210mg (2 syringes) for osteoporosis, so it would be possible for me to decide how much to inject once per month towards the last few months of treatment. Let me know if you get responses from peers who have tapered off osteoporosis drugs!

PS: I haven’t had any side effects. My injection sites are a little sore for about a week, no other effects.
