Have you done any volunteer work or online courses during your time not working? What was the reason you stopped working? A new employer will want to know why you stopped working and what you have been doing with your time between jobs.
You can ask for accommodations with an employer in partnership with your doctor on ergonomic desk/chair and assessment and depending on the type of job/work, you can see what is needed to help you fully do the work successfully despite a disability. An accommodation cannot be how to avoid doing essential functions of the job.
