I am 8 months post HOLEP. I used 4 to 6 depends daily for 6 months. I have always been good at night, but when on my feet not so good. When doing kegels I would fill up my depends. At the 7th month things changed. I only leak occasionally. I have been wearing liners only and I can wear just one liner all day long. Same as your doctor, my doctor told me it is normal for some people to experience incontinence for up to a year. I stopped doing kegels a month ago. I get stress leaks, but nothing bad. I bowl 2 days a week and never have to change my liner. Don’t give up. Stay the course and continue with the kegels. BTW, I am 73 years young.
