Welcome to Mayo Connect.
Like others mentioned, it is going to depend on surgeon's schedule and urgency. Even though it would be nice to have everything done at one time. Depending on type surgery, sometimes it is nice to have time to prepare for.

As a result of an accident most of the humerus bone and shoulder socket is missing. We were told to plan to stay for 10 business days (maybe everyone is told that) but we understood that was in case more appointments were needed.
