I read somewhere about citrus bioflavonoids helping thus condition. I’ve learned that too large a dose isn’t helping so I’ve dropped to a lower dose which seems to help but doesn’t prevent them. My doctor said it was ‘old lady skin’! He lucky I like him and didn’t slap him! I’m 74 but my dad had this too! Long sleeves don’t help much but they hide it. It’s hard to wear long sleeves in Texas in summer! No doctors seem to have a clue why this happens. My dad has Welsh ancestry. Mom was half Swede. Her skin was fine.

Try Arnica,
Worked for me.

I read somewhere here that bioflavonoids help but don’t recall if citrus is necessary. That would be good to know, if anyone reading this happens to know if citrus is necessarily best. I went online and looked at bioflavonoids, haven’t done a deep dive on which is best but I’m willing to try them if they’re helping! It’s always a challenge to find the right one and a company selling them that is reputable!

Ha ha ... That's what all my Docs say "old man skin" ! I'm 72 and seemed to have tried anything and everything and nothing thus far has worked.

Are you on blood thinners? My husband’s skin is a mess we are 70’ish!! I heard that the other day and thought it was nicely “non-commital !!! ”.
