I saw another post by @wmjmck asking the same question - has anyone tried Nerve Flow. I think you have to start with there is no cure for neuropathy and then do your homework on any supplement or miracle cure on the market professing to make your neuropathy disappear. I've posted this before but here's some useful tips for vetting neuropathy treatments from the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy - https://www.foundationforpn.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/VettingPNinfo.pdf.

There are also a couple of different discussions that mention various different products that are suspect:

-- Quazar's guidance about avoiding scams and snake oil cures - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/how-to-avoid-quacks-and-snake-oil-treatments/

Good morning, @vbadeaux

I second what John says about the need to begin with accepting that there is no cure (at least at this time). Since developing PN, I've been, if not bombarded, certainly -bomb-bothered, by sales pitches for "total cures." One pitch that at first alarmed mr but now I simply skip over is the full color, half vertical sleeve into which my Sunday newspaper is inserted. The sleeve is a super-boastful ad for a local doctor (doctor? doctor of what?) who wishes me to know that he's able to cure my PN.

Why I was at first "alarmed" to see this ad had nothing to do with the ad's subject but that it's appearance along with my Sunday paper was more evidence in this digital age of just how porous our lives have become. My Sunday newspaper knows I have PN?
I suppose it knows my routing number, too. 🙂

Good luck, @vbadeaux, in steering clear of scams!

Cheers!

Thank you, John. I will check out the two links you provided.

Just curious. What makes " Foundation For Peripheral Neuropathy " legitimate? They have many of the same supplement ingredients as many that are called scams have. So why are they trusted? Why is Big Pharma trusted. Why is the FDA trusted. All this Neuropathy that people have over the past 10,15,20 years is really alarming. I understand some people have had SFN for many years, but the spike in Neuropathy victims in the recent years is extremely alarming. All of a sudden there are MANY commercials that talk about Neuropathy. Why ? MANY MANY,MANY, medications have black label warnings that warn ( possible Neuropathy using this certain medication. I would not doubt it for a minute that if we could figure out what food, drink, chemical, or medication we are taking that is causing our Neuropathy, that there is a way to reverse it. I am no Dr. Or Scientists but our bodies are amazing. And I know God has all the answers on all of these things that happen to our bodies. Some day we will know. Well I hope and pray you all have relief at least tonight from your ailments.
