Hi, to all! I haven't been on for awhile. Doctors have after me for 10+ years to take bone medicines. I don't like drugs, because I'm pretty sensitive to some drugs that I've taken in the past. So I increased calcium, D3 etc. I began an exercise program which I have stuck with. I am 78 yrs old, and I had never broken a bone until about 2 years ago. I had. Run-in with a toddler and broke my little toe. Though they don't count that as an osteoporotic fracture, looking at the X-ray of my broken toe was a real wake up call! On my next visit with my bone doctor, I agreed to a plan to start with Evenity and follow with Reclast.
I finished Evenity in June, followed by a Dexa to check any improvements.
SPINE: T score -1.9 to normal.
Total hip: -2.4 to -2.2
Femoral neck: -3.5 to -3.1

My Dr was happy with that!
I will get my Reclast infusion in a week. She only expects 1 infusion to be necessary, at the most 2. (Once Yearly)
I'll keep you posted.

I was interested in your results. Your path seems similar to mine. I am on Evenity now (DEXA scheduled for NOV). I plan to start Reclast next year. I was curious as to what you said about your doctor expecting only 1-2 infusions. Does that mean no treatment at all after 1-2. infusions of Reclast? Thank you for your input.
