I'm with you- mourning the loss of summer. I am a gardener and injured myself in the garden. Not being able to enjoy it is tough.
Sorry, but I also see humor in your post. My complaint is throwing chlorine in the pool every day that I can't use! I should be able to go in about the time we cover it for the winter.
You might have better luck finding a cleaner on Facebook- local community pages, ours has a babysitter page where there might be a student willing to clean- it never hurts to ask especially if you would pay more. I am on crutches with 20# weight limit on one side for 6 weeks.
