That's a lot of cortisone at once. They should have been wiser given your age. My doctor said if they put it directly in the joint it shouldn't effect the rest of your body but it always does for me. I've found keeping the muscles around the joint strong with weights helps best.

Thanks Koleke for that comment about weight work for shoulder arthritis. I found the same result...if I keep the physical therapy going I can keep the shoulder from ruining my days and nights. I had the same experience with my arthritic knee, but that was before the knee replacement. Weight work after joint replacement made for a year of tissue damage and suffering. Are there others in this group who had that happen?Hopefully someone will jump in with a comment.
