Hi @susies215, after biomarker testing was performed, my cancer was identified as having an ALK mutation. There are targeted therapies (oral pills) that can control the mutating cells for some time, but eventually the cancer will find a way around the therapy and mutate again. At that time we’ll look for another treatment. Until then, I’m still tolerating the meds and continuing on my original treatment.
Are you undergoing treatment? When were you diagnosed?

I am doing dual immunotherapy and getting ready to also start chemotherapy. I have squamous type lung cancer so no mutations to target. I am very limited on treatment. Cancer cells all throughout both lungs in airways
