Getting Synvisc gel injection tomorrow

Well it was interesting. Had a discussion with the doctor. He said they only had these single gel injections: Gel-One and Durolane. I chose Gel-One because it was the first one he mentioned. Any of you had that, or opinions on it? I didn't have time to do much Googling, unfortunately. Wasn't painful, didn't bleed, and he just put a bandaid on't. Said to rest it this weekend, and it should be good to go back to PT Monday -- especially wearing knee brace with activity such as walking with walker. Said full effects should start to be felt in about 2 weeks, and that it should last from 3 months up to 1 year -- longer than cortisone. Can repeat if and when necessary.

I had a Durolane shot into my knee and it did nothing for my pain. I am waiting for a full knee replacement.

Day 2: Still okay. Iced with big 32 oz. bag of frozen peas yesterday after injection. Not even sure it was necessary.
