unusual bowel movement

Posted by davidbrandi01 @davidbrandi01, Jul 27, 2025

I am cancer free now. 7 months after RP. two readings at 3 and 6 months both < .01 . Not wearing pads or diapers. Some dripping occasionally , coughing and laughing mostly. Playing 18 holes of golf with no leakage. Here's the question. My bowel movements are pretty regular however wiping my self doesn't seem to remove all the stool material. My point is I have noticed 'poop" stains in my underpants where as i never had before. Any comments would be appreciated

Perhaps lighten up Jeff. Let the guy enjoy the honeymoon period which could possibly turn into a marriage of freedom from PC.
With that said, I agree on training the body. "Regularity". Our TP budget deffentily increase after all of the PC probing.

After reading about Ryne Sandberg having it spread to other organs, within 4 months after saying he was cancer free. Thinking you are cured could be a fatal choice.

Is there any honeymoon period?

Japanese toilet is THE BEST!
You can now buy toilet seats with the wash and dry features built in. Once you try it you will never want to use TP again!
Lowed Home Depot has them and you can order them on Amazon
Say goodbye to wiping unless your visiting someone who doesn’t have one

I swear by my Bidet. It’s one of life’s little but great pleasures and the top goes up automatically when I walk in. Now when I walk into any other bathroom my instinct is to wait a nano second for the toilet seat to go up and the lazy part of my personality momentarily is annoyed that I have to lift the toilet seat. Pitiful, I know.

Wet wipes can solve your problems.

Unfortunately, they can’t be put in the toilet, so disposing of them is equal to the problem women have with their period.

They are selling flushable ones now, but I don’t use them since I have a septic tank and not sewers where I live.
I simply take the used Pamper, wrap it in toilet paper and throw it in my garbage can in the garage. A but inconvenient, but what isn’t??

actually I experienced them in Europe and SE Asia . Actually very wonderful invention . Never took off in North America for some reason. Man , I was on ANA Airlines flying deadhead . Went to washroom . Lordy clean as a pin ! And of course they had a state of the art Bidet in there . you adjust for spray type , warm water , cold , warmer , strength of water flow etc .... fascinating in SE Asia . Europe is always an eye opener too ! I get your point about the Bidet though .

David , Wet wipes while probably do the job for you . Your bowel is still adjusting somewhat . If there is any significant change in stool type or blood , get into your Dr very quickly ! God Bless Sir !

Yeap. I grew up in Europe and bathrooms here in the States were "strange looking " to me lol.
Hygiene in general here really , lets say kindly, needs some improvement. Shoes in home and even worse - shoes and feet on table lol are something I will never get used to seeing.
Regarding bidet - most people there wash themselves after BM even if they do not have bidet. Short "butt shower" is all that is needed. It really takes 3 min if you have hand held shower-head. I do not even book a hotel here without shower that features a hand-held shower head lol. NO paper or wipe can clean ones behind like beautiful and refreshing stream of water : ))).

I imagine we all could use some suggestions and recommendations for the best bidets. I understand they can be added to the standard toilet but need electricity closely. But I believe you can purchase a new toilet that has the bidet features included.

Interesting ... same thing in many SE Asian countries ( NOT China though - super dirty ) . For example , in the Philippines , very common to have a hand shower wand by toilets for a good cleaning can be done. You NEVER see this in NA . I agree with you !
