The question I am asking is in the future when his treatment stops. We have fingers crossed travel plans for a few month so want to plan accordingly. So want know once the two years are over and if they want stop the meds intermittently how often will he get checked.

Standard of care for a patient with stable, well-controlled stage 4 prostate cancer is blood tests and checkups every 3–6 months.

If PSA is low and not changing, and there's no other sign of progression, then there's no reason not to go on a 6+ week-long trip, even while he's on his medications (I took my Orgovyx and Erleada with me to Europe last year).

Just make sure that if you're leaving your own country, you have travel health insurance with a prexisting-condition rider.
