Thank you so much. It is Gleason 9 regionally advanced prostate cancer with spread to a seminal vessel and a lymph node. He has been on treatment for a year of Orxovyx Zytega and had Brachytherapy and 25 IGMRT sessions of radiation. His psa and T are currently undetectable.

Great to hear his PSA is undetectable. Between Orgovyx and Zytiga it should keep your numbers down.

When you said he was finished with treatment It does not appear you actually mean he stopped taking Orgovyx and Zytiga. How Long will those drugs be continued? As long as you’re on those drugs, you are under treatment. I would think they would want to do it for two years or maybe a little more.

I don’t understand why you’re seeing the doctor once a month. You need to get blood test once a month, but there would be no reason to actually visit the doctor monthly. I have a meeting with my oncologist once a Quarter. If I have any problems or questions, I can just email her anytime. it could be you’re just going in for a blood test monthly, but seeing the doctor each time is really padding the bill, Unless your case has had dramatic twists and turns and he has to keep up with it closely.
