It’s really good that you met with the surgeon. She felt something. Apparently, even the best trained of clinicians can’t feel lesions that are less than 1 cm. Did she feel the lump and attest to its presence? And how could it be from radiation if the radiation took place other side? It sounds like the ultrasound person could was dismissive and did not take your concerns seriously. I would go back to the ultrasound office and ask to speak to the manager and the radiologist on site. I have done this and the people are generally very sympathetic. It’s not fair that you have to wait two weeks to see someone else with such serious concerns and misgivings. Perhaps go back to the surgeon and tell her that the person on gave you 2 minutes. There is also an MRI. Good luck. I hope it’s nothing and it could be nothing. But you need to get to the bottom of this for peace of mind. I don’t blame you for being upset. If it were me I would go back to the ultrasound office first thing tomorrow morning and call the surgeon for a follow up ASAP. Wishing you the best!

Well I met with radiation oncologist today, she too felt something. She didn't believe it was related to radiation, we pulled up the radiation field picture and radiation did not effect this area. So she reordered the ultrasound...I told her how I was treated the first time & how I felt it wasn't a proper eval...I just need peace of mind!!! So hopefully this time I will get some answers!! Thanks for listening
