Suz, I have similar experience--lower back pain and mostly due to muscle wasting caused by my "disease" which brought on neuropathy. At Physical Therapy they put the TENS machine on me and I noticed change. I no longer go to PT and am trying to strengthen my glutes and hips because that should help get rid of some of the back pain. Are you taking any medication for your back pain? I have to be careful with that too. Even a Salonpas patch caused my heart to race so I do not use that. My PN is mostly numbing and tingling but no pain; however, if you know anything on back pain, I would appreciate your input.

@ arcuri24 I have been on low dose naltrexone (3mg) for 10 years. It does wonders for not only my back and neck pain but the pain associated with ME/CFS and fibromyalgia. I’ve only tried going off it twice and each time my pain returned. The only time I need to take Aleve is when back pain flares due to tweaking it. I have spondilolitheses which slips occasionally. That’s when I pull out the TENS.

Not saying I never have any pain, but that the LDN keeps me from having to take something else most of the time.
