I've had both knees replaced. Right in 2021, left in 2023. I was very disappointed with not being able to kneel on them as I do flower gardening and have grandchildren/great grandchildren who I would play on the floor with. I've found the only way I can kneel is to use a very thick memory foam pillow or two when I want to get down/up from the floor. When I don't have the pillow(s) handy, I have learned to roll to my side & use my feet & hands to get up. I'm 66...not sure how long this will be an option for me. I still have to figure out something for working in the flower garden. Possibly using a small step stool to assist in getting up will be the answer. Best of luck.
