Voltaren is great stuff, it really helps when my osteoarthritis is really bad. That, and my recliner and head phones so I can listen to music to help drown out the pain. The only thing that has helped in the past with the pain in my feet from the neuropathy has been pure peppermint extract spray. It feels very cooling on the soles of my feet, and helps with the pain and burning, though only for a short time. After the first application, it doesn't work as well or as long.

Hi, @mrmacabre ~
Voltaren never helped me but you are right on target with the peppermint extract spray. Yes, it is temporary and needs to be reapplied, but it sure beats screaming into one's pillow with pain. I used it for a couple of years before my EMG diagnosis and still keep it on hand for times when I've found I'm late in taking my Rx pain medications. It helps some until the good stuff kicks in.
You're the first one that I have encountered on Connect that corroborates the peppermint spray treatment!
