Ditto. 24/7 trippin'. Do you ever throw up because of this? Isnt there a stent they can use instead of open heart sugery. I read CBD is very good for arterial tissue (see cbd johns hopkins). Mine is 4.3cm but my bp is all over the place. Got any advice i was just diagnosed in 4-25....

Yes there are stents for both ascending and descending aortic aneurysms. Endovascular stents are available for descending aortic aneurysms.
Recently (last few years), clinical trials began for ascending aortic aneurysms. Many, if not most, high volume academic centers are participating.
As with any clinical trial, requirements for patients to receive one are well delineated.
My husband and I were very enthused but then learned he didn’t qualify. Why? First of all, his aneurysm is 4.9 cm - I think it has to be 5.0 cm. The second reason was that there needs to be sufficient “landing areas” on each end (North &South) of the aneurysm for the surgeon to be able to attach the graft!
So it will be awhile. My husband’s aneurysm has been stable for years and so we are hoping to avoid surgery. Who knows! One can only hope!
