Soft wave therapy for joint pain

This may be way off but I'll write it anyway. I've had many joint problems since the mid 90's. Both shoulders were first requiring surgery. The left shoulder, in 1996, held up until 3-4 years ago. I started with shots which no longer help and after a CT, was told bone on bone I need a reverse replacement. The pain and lack of range of motion is telling me I need to act soon.

A few months ago a friend who needed a knee replacement told me a device she bought from Amazon for about 30 bucks. It straps to knees, shoulders and anything you can put it. It has heat and simple vibration. I started using it about 4-5 times a day along with turmeric.

I have arthritis in almost every joint. The turmeric has helped my fingers. The other gadget has helped my shoulder enough that I canceled my surgery. I cannot believe how long it's worked. I thought something would fail. The battery charges pretty fast and it's still holding a good charge after over 3 months of steady use. I have no idea how long this may last but I didn't like the idea of the surgery. It has a long recovery time and the doc said I could not lift more than 25lbs. That made me worry about how strong the surgery was. For instance, if I fell on my arm, how easily would the surgery be broken? I really could not see doing this PT more than once.

Seems like it's too easy? Well I can't believe it's been helping but it has. I'll be looking into those waves mentioned above.

Is the machine a red light therapy wand with vibration?

Was this a TENS device or an EMS device.
The EMS device caused veins to protrude where the pads were placed by a PT as she may have done the treatment too long.
