" All in your head" is not an appropriate response from a physician. I would look for a new primary who is more caring and concerned. There are still a few out there. I am an old gentleman and understand how older people are treated sometimes. Let's stopping thinking old and frail and just say we are tough old birds:)

@stephen18 I fired my primary care after the PA told me I was “too complex” for them to care for. This was after my rheum. practice in Peoria dropped half their patients including me due to lack doctors. I prevailed and found a wonderful new rheumatologist in Chicago area who finally diagnosed me with PMR after being gaslit for years.
I had suffered with PMR symptoms for so long and had to travel out of town a new physician who provided me with a diagnosis. Don’t give up and
be an advocate for yourself.
