I think getting a second opinion is a great idea. Do you have specific names and reputations of other surgeons? Where I live (Boston) there are plenty that specialize in "revisions." Try not to worry about maybes. I think I know how you feel; I'm getting a second opinion from another PT today myself.

I got ahead of myself when I read your reply. I see now you indicated a PT not a doctor. Needed another cup of coffe I guess 😊
