I purchased a Dr. Ho's foot device for neuropathy. the first use, I liked the way i could feel tingling in my legs and feet. I ....thought....this meant that it was helping the nerves .However, as this was a few months ago, I don't know why I decided it was not a good match for me, so i sent it back. Not sure, but it may have been because of reading that too much usage of a tens unit could have a negative effect on the nerves........so I do have an ultrasound device, gentler the Tens, which i use at home. But, I am also going to a neurologists office, where they are using Soft Wave treatments, which can regenerate , and help weak legs, plus a lot of other problems. First visit, the Dr., had it on tooooo high of an intensity. yelling out, did not hit his brain, to listen to the patient, But when I said.............child birth was easier, he did turn it down 2 levels. but, that was still way too intense. The 2nd time i went in, i said he needed to start out lower. he did. I only felt minor discomfort. this week, I will be having him put it up one more notch..........thing is, Soft Wave, can cause some discomfort, but it should Not be extreme pain. he needs to listen to his patient. So if he will .....listen......then i think the two of us can work together on this treatment. Ins. does NOT pay, First visit is a low price, but follow ups are not. It is worth it to me, to try it out, as i really need more strength back in my legs. Once a week with him, and once a week with my ultrasound wand..............Let the Magic begin......OR will it be, oh crap, that didn't work..............unknown journey..........it is a clinic well known for treating neuropathy.........they decided to add in this Soft Wave treatment,,,,,so i am ....hoping..
