Thank you for the info, @debbie1956.

Although I reported the collagen/biotin in my list of current supplements, my doc either missed it or didn’t know it could cause a false read. Either way, my fingers are crossed that when I repeat the test in October, sans collagen/biotin, my scores will be back down to normal - whatever that is ;).

@beanieone Yes it is amazing what doctors and blood labs are not aware of sometimes. Neither my doctor, even naturopath, nor my blood lab mentioned to avoid collagen or biotin before the CTX. Fortunately, I had read the "Great Bones" book and watched Keith McCormick's interviews. By the way, my CTX decreased by 80%, from 688 to 138 in 8 months after starting BHRT, so it appears to have stopped the rapid progression of bone loss I was experiencing.
