Thank goodness I found this page. It is 3 months after my TKR and i'm still exhausted a lot of the time. For 2 years, my knee had been down to bone on bone, but I was doing the gel shots. Then a year ago I had a freak accident and ripped everything under the knee cap. I had to wait till all of that healed for surgery - but it didn't heal well and I ended up bowlegged in that leg. ( Which also had to be corrected during surgery)
I get comments from people about how long it's taking me to heal, and
it's pretty disheartening.
